In Doğanbaba Village, we gathered with our students for an iftar dinner with a martyr's family.

Yeşilova İsmail Akın Turizm MYO students continue to visit martyr families for iftar as part of a community contribution project and share the meals they have prepared themselves with the martyr families. In this week's program, they were guests at the iftar table of the family of martyr Halit KAYHAN, Leyla KAYHAN and Kemal KAYHAN, in Doğanbaba village. Our School Director Mert GÜRLEK and Yeşilova District Governor Mustafa TURAN also attended the iftar.

Martyr family member Leyla KAYHAN said, “Hosting the students in my home and having these beautiful meals they prepared brighten our iftar table made us very happy. They are as valuable to me as my son, Martyr Halit.”

District Governor TURAN said, “This project by the young people made us very happy. It is a proud thing that they do not forget the martyr families and share the same table with them. This behavior will set an example for all young people and shows how hopeful we are about future generations.”

Our School Director GÜRLEK said, “Our biggest goal as a school is to add value to society and to show the power of young people and what they can achieve. In this project, the young people have shown how sensitive they are to society and how much they embrace national and spiritual values. We are very happy that they visit martyr families every week and share the meals they prepare with them.”
